1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using Kasoa In One (the “Platform”)—including browsing, registering an account, or posting advertisements—you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). The Platform is a classified ads service designed to connect Ghanaian buyers and sellers, and these Terms govern your relationship with Kasoa In One and other users. If you do not agree to all these Terms, you must not use the Platform.
2. Eligibility and Account Registration
To use the Platform’s services, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
- Maintain the security and confidentiality of your account credentials.

- Prohibited Items: Advertising items such as academic writing services, illegal drugs, weapons, or any goods banned under Ghanaian law.
4. Transactions and Platform Role
Critical Disclaimer: Kasoa In One is a neutral platform that facilitates connections between users. We are not a party to any transaction between buyers and sellers.
- “As-Is” Basis: All goods and services are offered “as-is,” “as available,” and “with all faults.” We do not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or accuracy of any listing, nor the ability of users to complete a transaction.
- User Due Diligence: You are solely responsible for verifying the other party’s identity, inspecting goods before payment, and ensuring the transaction complies with the law. We strongly recommend meeting in safe, public places for transactions.
- Taxes and Legal Compliance: Users are solely responsible for collecting, reporting, and remitting any applicable taxes (e.g., VAT) arising from their sales, as per Ghana’s Value Added Tax Act, 2013 (Act 870).
- Release of Liability: You release Kasoa In One from any claims or damages arising from disputes, interactions, or transactions with other users.
5. Fees and Payments
The Platform offers both free and paid services (e.g., promoted listings, storefront creation).
- All fees are stated on the Platform and are generally non-refundable due to the nature of the digital service.
- Kasoa In One reserves the right to change its fee structure and payment methods at any time.
- For paid services, payment must be made in advance.
6. Content Moderation and Removal
Kasoa In One reserves the right to review, edit, hide, or remove any user content (advertisements, messages) that, in our sole discretion, violates these Terms, applicable law, or harms the integrity of the Platform. We may take these actions without prior notice, including in response to reports from other users or legal authorities.
7. Intellectual Property
- Platform Content: All intellectual property rights in the Platform (software, design, logos, trademarks) belong to Kasoa In One or its licensors and are protected by law.
- Your Content: You retain ownership of the content (text, images) you post. By posting, you grant Kasoa In One a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content on the Platform and for promotional purposes.
8. Data Protection and Privacy
Kasoa In One’s collection and use of personal data are governed by our separate Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. We handle your data in accordance with Ghana’s Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843). This includes implementing security measures and respecting your rights regarding your personal information.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Ghanaian law, Kasoa In One and its officers, employees, or agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. This includes, but is not limited to, losses from:
- Fraudulent or inaccurate user advertisements.
- Transactions or interactions between users.
- Interruptions in Platform availability.
- Unauthorized access to your data.
Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the total fees you have paid to us in the six (6) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kasoa In One from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your content, or your use of the Platform.
11. Termination
- By You: You may deactivate your account at any time.
- By Us: We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform immediately, without notice, if you breach these Terms, act harmfully towards other users, or if required by law. Termination does not relieve you of obligations incurred prior to termination.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ghana. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana. You agree to comply with all applicable Ghanaian laws, including but not limited to the Electronic Transactions Act, 2008 (Act 772), and the Cybersecurity Act, 2020 (Act 1038).
13. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last Updated” date at the top will be revised, and we may notify users of significant changes via the Platform or email. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
